What we often see
Paths get shaded. This damp environment leads to thick green algae growth that makes the walkway dangerously slippery when it rains. Over time, growing tree roots can push concrete sections up to create sharp trip hazards and dark structural cracks that need deep grinding back to level out.
What may help
We grind down raised lips to level out uneven edges. After patching any cracks, we apply textured grip coatings to make the path safe and easy to sweep.
Worth considering
Walkways must be safe. Paths are highly visible to visitors, so the finish must look tidy while providing enough texture to prevent slips on sloped sections.
