Stained / Dirty Concrete
It looks dirty. You will notice dark grease patches under where vehicles park, along with thick green mould in shaded spots that never get any direct sun during the day.

Common causes
- Engine oil and fluid leaks dripping from parked vehicles
- Mould and mildew growing in damp, shaded concrete areas
- Bore water irrigation spraying mineral-rich water onto paths
- Tyre rubber transferring heat and carbon black onto the surface
What it may mean
These are cosmetic issues. However, heavy green mould creates a slippery falling hazard for your family when the surface gets wet. Petroleum-based leaks can also slowly soften older acrylic sealers, which eventually leaves the bare concrete underneath completely exposed to deep, permanent oil stains that are very hard to lift.
What Atlas may do
We blast the grime. We apply professional biodegradable degreasers to lift stubborn oil before blasting the surface with hot-water pressure cleaners and sealing the clean concrete to prevent future staining.
When to get it checked
Get it assessed if oil stains have soaked deep into unsealed concrete, or if previous attempts to scrub the stains have failed.
